This week I was reading an article about 7 tips for an effective job search. Professionally speaking I thought the tips were well founded however what I was most struck by was the dozens of replies from readers who angrily attacked the articles author, stating that she didn’t know how hard it was to job search and that her tips were baseless because she wasn’t unemployed, and on and on. As a Career Consultant I talk with people everyday and hear about their struggles and hear how tired they are and how difficult it is to find a job. Of all the tips I can offer, first and foremost is making sure they are doing everything they can to maintain an outward positive attitude. I realize that this is much easier said than done but I also know, that there isn’t an employer in the world who wants to hire someone who is bitter, angry and negative.
Lot's of angry job seekers
